For my first post, I really wanted to write something clever, something great, something awe-inspiring … . But that’s the problem with most beginnings: They never get out of the gate. There’s way too much pressure to be sensational. Take jockeys for example. They might be focused on the race ahead, the turn of the track and the finish line, but the horse just wants to run. So, while I am fully aware that I need to be the jockey, I am excellent at being the horse — and getting out of the gate.
